PL club ready to sell Hammers ‘target’

Manchester City are ready to sell Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer, according to reports in Italy.

West Ham have been linked with the left-back previously, firstly by Football.London last summer, when David Moyes was on the lookout for a new left-sided player to join the Hammers.

Ex WHU Employee then claimed that the Ukraine international was an option in January, but no deal materialised.

Zinchenko has made 12 league appearances this season and Tuttomercatoweb claims that the Premier League leaders are ready to listen to offers for the 24-year-old in the next transfer window.

That could be a boost for boss David Moyes as he looks to reshape a squad that could be playing European football next season.

Zinchenko is a versatile presence capable of playing on the left wing or at left back, while he has also played in central midfield at times.

It remains to be seen how much City would ask for but he is valued at £18m by Transfermarkt and he has a contract that runs until 2024.

  1. He is solid. Would be a good option to allow Cresswell time should we make Europe.
