PL rivals ready to pounce on Adrian

|

adrian-west-hamPalace and Newcastle are today being reported as considering moves for West Ham Adrian.

The Spanish keeper has been suggested as a Newcastle target for several days but the announcement that Joe Hart has finally joined the Irons on a one year loan has raised the intensity of the speculation

Adrian, 30, finished the season as first choice keeper and the Hammers’ activated a clause to extend his contract by two years.

Boss Slaven Bilic spoke to Adrian yesterday to confirm Hart was on his way and it seems that Eagles and Magpies are now ready to fly into action.

Adrian has been told he needs to be playing regularly to stand any chance of making Spain’s squad for next summer’s World Cup.

Palace have cast their eyes in Adrian’s direction after Steve Mandanda rejoined Marseille last week.

Need tonkeep him to compete with Hart and if hart doesn’t stay next summer will really need him. Salv has come out and said Hart still has to earn a spot doesn’t just walk in. I hope that is true and bases on merit and not name/
