Players “hoping for Rav return”

Ravel-Morrison-v-BarkleyRavel Morrison’s future is very much back under the microscope following his impact loan spell at Queens Park Rangers.

Loftus Road boss Harry Redknapp is thrilled with the England under 21’s effect since arriving on loan where the player has scored five goals in eight games after a slump which saw Rangers go five games without a win.

But since the midfielder hit his stride the team’s fortunes have turned around and were the team to be promoted a bid of around £5 million would be on the cards.

However ClaretandHugh understands that various players at the Boleyn are understood to have told the boss that it would be great if Rav could be brought back to the club and  a new deal organised.

A source told us that whilst it is all informal stuff, they are expressing the view that his creative spark is of great value to a team that has been heavily criticised for its lack of that this season.

A source told us: ” The player has friends at the club who will get an arm around his shoulder and the players want him in the fold. My understanding is one or two have  made that known to the boss.

“There’s plenty of guys here who will always get an arm around Rav’s shoulder. He is a player of real value.”
