PlayerWatch: The return of Arnautovic

CandH reporter Danny Leach followed Marko Arnautovic’s return – such as it was – and here’s the blow by blow account.

16 – Controls a knock down very well but his through ball to Antonio out on the right is too heavy and goes out for a throw

25 – Filters a pass through two opposition players to Antonio on the edge of the box but the ball is lost

71 – He hobbles off for Chicharito after sustaining an injury to his right leg after striking another player while battling for the ball

Verdict – 5 – It was a very quiet night for him as was for his team mates. He had no chances at all while he was on, however he was always trying to make himself for his team mates and was putting a shift throughout. Much more is expected not just from him with the quality he has but as a whole team and a collective.
