Please God this Iron is nowhere near today’s squad

I really don’t wanna be too unkind about the bloke but I really don’t wanna see Andriy Yarmolenko anywhere near the squad this afternoon!

His “cameo” performances over recent weeks don’t deserve it and if he really did tell his national team chief – as reported – that he wants out of West Ham at the end of the season then he isn’t a player we need on the squad.

The truth is I’m sorry the guy is still at the club as I had everything crossed there would be a late bid from somewhere in the window despite his lack lustre performances.

There’s been much criticism of Arthur Masuaku and we know he can defend but he’s always likely to enjoy a flash of inspiration and can excite.

The sight of Yarmolenko lumbering down the right and predictably attempting to switch onto his left for a shot is now as predictable as it gets.

Whatever else may or may not happen in Worcestershire today I seriously hope we get sight of at least a couple of kids and striker Armstrong Okofkex is due with Aji Alese at central defence the other.

But Yarmolenko? Those days are gone hopefully!

  1. Agreed and now there’s the betting scandel thing.
I believe that not getting any bids for either seriously dented our chances of a signing or two. The wage bill would’ve been out of control. Playing as many younger players today as possible could be the start of something new. If one or two hit the ground running we may not have to use the infamous two again.

  2. I couldn’t agree more. Today’s line up should look like this

    Areola

    Ashby, Diop, Alese, Longelo

Kral, Noble (if fit, if not then Lanzini)

    Bowen, Benrahma, Masuaku,

    Oko-flex

  3. Why do I think that if he was with another Team, he would be used as a target man and score goals.

  4. Moyes not even brave.
    A miss mass of players.
You’re God was not paying attention.

Bit worried that there are no fighters in that team apart from Zouma.
    Two muppets.

Noble will have to play a blinder

  5. The worst case of Moyes stubborn streak, how can he not see that Yarmalenko,Fredericks, and Masuaku aren’t good enough, Today was a chance to include some of the youngsters!
