Podcast outburst: Moncur savages Sam

MoorethanClaretandHugh’s John Moncur has opened his heart on the misery he suffered when his son George was dumped out of his beloved West Ham by Sam Allardyce.

‘Moncs’ makes is crystal clear in the ClaretandHugh interview on MooreThanJustpodcast tonight that he is no Allardyce man and said: “The way he treated George and the kids in that FA Cup match at Nottingham Forest was a joke.

“Sam Allardyce never looked at the young players but George has gone on to show himself a good player and is proving it at Colchester. Hopefully he will come back to a higher level again.”

‘Moncs’ is watching the Development Squad closely this year and said: “I think Terry Westey’s job will be to bring through one or two to play first team football. The youngsters will get more of a  chance than they did with Sam Allardyce.”

And he reveals that Slaven Bilic was his choice as manager and says: “He will take us on. I’m not surprised by the early success. I know him well and he’s a very good lad”

  4. “clear to a blind man” no wonder this site attracts so many Neanderthals – it’s like the 1970’s as far as being politically correct is concerned. You’d think Leroy would know better.
