West Ham fans have given Christian Benteke a massive thumbs down as the club’s major summer signing.
Extraordinarily, the Liverpool striker attracted only 10 votes (0.58 pc of the vote) in a ClaretandHugh poll asking fans which of six selected strikers they would like at the club next season.
Everton’s Romelu Lukaku was way out in front with 39.04 per cent of the vore (668) with the Marseilles front man Michy Batshuayi filling second spot (28 per cent ) – 479 votes.
Regularly mentioned in the national press, Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon) collected 274 votes (16 per cent) whilst Javier Hernandez collected 75 votes (2.05 per cent) and Eden Dzeko 40 or 2.34 per cent.
A total of 1711 voted making the poll official under Mori regulations with 2.63 per cent registering themselves as don’t knows.
Yeah pick a English player with a harder name to spell,
Who ever comes they will have trouble getting before Sak and Valencia because they fit with Lanzini,Payet and Antonio perfectly,
If AC is happy play a super sub role we have a good set up,
But I like players that play well against us and after Luluka,Wilson and Dehenney fit the role
Maybe we should be looking at Calton or Nene Fletcher or another old man,not someone young and exciting
