Poll result: Who will be the next Hammers skipper?

Declan Rice has emerged as a big winner in a poll to discover who should become the next Hammers skipper.

Wuth Mark Noble rising 34 next month and unlikely to play in every gae for the Irons ClaretandHugh asked which of the current squad was the man to succeed him.

And Declan emerged a clear winner with 47.02 per cent of the vote (450) ahead – and we are assuming the Hammers stay up and the player makes his stay permanent -Tomas Soucek who collected 291 vote  or just over 30 per cent of the total vote.

The poll therefore was very much a two horse race with Fabianski, Angelo Ogbonna and Michail Antonio filling second, third and fourth places with 12.53 per cent of the vote.
