Poll: ‘Safety by New Years Day’ voters lead

West Ham fans reckon the team will be “safe” by January – and how often have they been able to say that in the past?

With the team currently sitting on 27 points, ClaretandHugh.info readers voting in a new poll believe them team will have collected at least another 10 over the next five games which conclude on New Years Day.

The team meet Sunderland (a), Leicester City (h), Chelsea (a), Arsenal (h) and WBA (h) with a majority of fans going for a ten point haul between now and then.

The poll is ongong but nearly 30 per cent of the voters are going for the 10 point haul which would all but guarantee Christmas safety.

  1. Fifth?

    Wake up Hugh!

  2. I don’t see mention of 5th Marko, he said we will acquire 10 points over 5 games. I think that’s conservitive, I’m going for all 15 points, we will beat the Ars because we are a better team and AC and Sakho will tear JT and Cahill apart at The Bridge. We are the form side in the Prem so why not?
