Poll: Should the Hammers keep Zaba next season

Pablo Zabaleta’s West Ham future remains in the balance as games run out for him to complete the 28 appearances he requires to trigger an automatic contract renewal.

He needs another six to qualify and with seven games left that’s quite a big call.

Ryan Fredericks has been given his chance over recent games and it now remains to be seen if the veteran Argentinian will retire, move on or continue for another season, perhaps on a new deal.

With young Ben Johnson having impressed when he debuted for the team at Manchester City and with the Hammers seeing a big future for him it remains to be seen whether the Irons will keep Zaba on board or wave him a fond farewell.

The manager is a big fan of his former Manchester City star and spoken of his dressing room influence at the London Stadium along with his still quality defending.

So today’s poll is straightforward. Should we keep the 34-year-old on board for another season?
