With Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce keeping a close check on Robert Snodgrass’ position at the club we are interested in your view on the midfielder.
Snoddy has enjoyed a lot of playing time in pre-season and may well have impressed the new boss Manuel Pellegrini sufficiently to earn a place in the squad. Bruce is reported keen to take the player back to Villa Park after an impressive loan spell last term.
So our poll today is straightforward.
Would you keep him at the club permanently or until the January window to see how he goes or let him leave permanently as the club are unlikely to release him on another loan deal?
Good player, good attitude. Not a top striker but with teh possibility of Cheik and Pedro going we need midfield options and he’s a good guy to fill in for Yarmolenko or Wilshere. That is if he’s happy to be back-up with us rather than first pick for Villa.
Spot on comment there spotted Dog. With Lanzini out too until next year, Snodgrass has shown his head is in the right frame of mind and is applying himself. He’s looking like he wants to play for us and who could blame him with a quality manager and quality players around him. But I agree with the poll. Keep him for now and if he goes back to the old Snoddy we saw last season then Jan would be a good time to look at other options for him.
Why do I never see these polls? I see them mentioned but no link.
