The season has only been over for 12 days but the Hammers have been on the march since the final day victory over Sam Allardyce’s Everton.
The arrival of Manuel Pellegrini has raised hopes sky high for next season but realistically how much can the new boss achieve in what looks set to become a very busy pre-season.
He has made it clear that he wants up to seven new players at the club which in real terms represents a near total rebuild – a scenario most of us will welcome.
Faith in the former Manchester City and Real Madrid boss seems almost total unanimous but can he turn the club into a top four, top six or top eight team next season.
The pessimists believe fortune will be forever hiding so where will the Irons have finished in the Premier League this time next year!
Another meaningless poll !
Don’t be hatin’ on the poll man. It’s just a bit of fun. Frankly reading any articles on transfer rumours is also totally pointless. We might as well just turn up at the start of the season and see what team turns up. But we do anyway because we are obsessed!
When I watch West Ham what I hate to see is incompetence and lack of effort. But lack of effort is the worst crime in my view.
I think it’s fair to judge this transfer window the same way. Players we buy might work out or might not but let’s at least see an effort to improve the team and sign the players we need.
Above Chelsea!
I’m not sure I understand the question…”where do think?”
