The answer is the same, no matter which games you compare –
The next one!
League points are more important than this Cup.
No they are not.
Who gives a ****e about the league, if we get relegated then so be it, been there done that, and even if we went down and was down for a number of years, who really cares. You don’t support a club based on what division they are in.
But the chance to have a day out at Wembley and winning a cup is something all fans, more so those who experience such things so very rarely is what we should hope to see and want.
It’s not like losing one single game at Old Trafford in the league means we will be dead and buried, we would still have 25 other games in which to try and get enough points to stay up.
Cup over league all day for me.
The sky generation really has killed the proper football fan.
Imho the league game is unimportant, yes try and get a result with a second team but personally I would like to see us win something and it looks to be our best route into Europe COYI!!!
Err BOTH!!
