Poll: Which position should Pellegrini prioritise?

|

The news of a West Ham strategy shift from defensive midfield targets to attacking midfield targets in the last 24 hours has surprised many. It had been widely reported that Pellegrini wanted to bolster up the defensive midfield alongside Declan Rice as a priority with enough cover for injuries in this position throughout the season.

That appears to have been turned on its head this week with club sources suggesting Pellegrini main priority is another attacking midfielder which he hopes to complete in the next seven weeks.

In today’s Claret and Hugh poll we ask the readers their opinion where the priority should be this summer.

I voted with Pellegrini. If that’s what he wants, he’s more qualified to know his style than me or the board.

    Maybe we should get both.

Both positions but cdm if Rice is unavailable we don’t have an adequate replacement, hopefully we can get Fornals over the line he has s lot of potential but imho Lobotka would be great also alongside Rice. The real positions are left back and centre forward, we create quality chances but less of them than most of the top 10 so we need higher quality finishing.
