In today’s ClaretandHugh poll we ask who should captain West Ham next season?
The obvious choices are Mark Noble or Marko Arnautovic but maybe you think someone would do a better job.
David Moyes has spoken regularly of the leadership qualities being shown by Arnie and the guy seems to have become one of us very quickly forever telling the world we are a great club.
Nobes is a fine servant but we just wonder whether the time has come for Arnie to provide a different brand of leadership.

Sean, Arnautovic is a very good player but not a captain in my eyes..only 7 months ago his attitude stunk at West Ham and he couldn’t be arsed to run around, and he was going round elbowing people at southamapton..it’s a silly poll in my eyes..we’ve got the best captain we can have at the moment and that is noble..surely you can see that. Strange poll..let’s be realistic Arnautovic being captain is not going to get us top 6 next season..we’re not good enough for that.
Stripping Noble of captain would be a disgrace I sometimes criticise his play but never the love for the club I seen interviews he gave during this mental season and at times I think he was one of the few holding the club together.Remember this man is a Hammers fan before all else.I can understand Moyes saying we need more leaders but we have only one captain.Next club captain will be Rice if he continues to grow next season for a young man he has great quailities
