Poll: Will West Ham finish in the top seven this season?

Manuel Pellegrini finished in the top ten last season but there are expectations from the club and the supporters he will improve on that finish this coming season.

In today’s Claret and Hugh poll we ask whether West Ham will finish in the top seven for the 2019/2020. It’s a pure Yes or No answer.

  1. I gave a no answer as it’s hard to give a yes answer to that question when we don’t even know who will be in the team, wait until all the deals have been done & then ask the question.

  2. I’d say no, but there’s no point voting until we know what we’re working with.

  3. Yeah that’s very true Neil. At the moment were are not seventh best – & definitely not better than seventh. A couple of high class signings plus a few decent backup players could change that. Even at the end of the window I reckon there will be a big element of doubt, because probably the best we can hope for are the lesser known players & they are often unknown quantities – could be a Payet or a Zaza. At this stage I would edge towards a ‘no’ because I think we will often be outbid for the good players the Big Six don’t want by the likes of Everton, Leicester, Wolves & Watford.
