Poll: Will West Ham win, lose or draw against Man City?

Manchester City have won the past seven Premier League meetings with West Ham, scoring 23 goals and conceding just three.

West Ham have taken just four points from a possible 39 in Premier League games at the Etihad Stadium – their only win came in September 2015. The Hammers’ 5-0 drubbing at home to City on the opening day of the season remains their biggest defeat so far this season.

Manchester City have lost six games already in the Premier League this season – they’ve never lost more than six in a league campaign under manager Pep Guardiola. Guardiola has won all eight of his meetings with West Ham in all competitions.

West Ham are winless in five league matches (D2, L3).

The Hammers have the worst form in the Premier League over the past eight fixtures (W1, D2, L5).

They’ve lost four of their last five Premier League away games.

Only bottom-of-the-table Norwich have scored fewer than West Ham’s 10 away goals in the top flight this season.

West Ham have dropped a league-high 19 points from winning positions in the Premier League this season, failing to win eight of the 14 games in which they’ve scored first this season.

Today we ask whether West Ham will win, lose or draw on Wednesday against City?

  1. Man City at the top. West Ham at the bottom. Man City having put five past us on the opening day. Man City playing us in their own stadium in front of their own fans. Of course West Ham are going to win or get a draw. Over half of our fans voting think so. Just goes to show how deluded most of our fans are and how successful we think we should be compared to reality.
