Poll’s sympathies all with the Irons

|

Former refgraham-poll_1809817a Graham Poll has torn into the refereeing standards on display in the Premier League and all his sympathies are with West Ham.

Poll had plenty of his controversies of his own during a career at the top but he’s clearly shocked at what he’s seeing these days from teh new brigade.

He fears the Irons will miss out on a Champions League spot on the back of some shocking decisions over the last few weeks.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: “West Ham would be well placed to claim a Champions League place had decisions not gone against them regularly in recent games.

“Premier League refereeing is weak and not fit for purpose, and the overturning of another red card will not help referees’ confidence or their credibility.

“We demand the best from our players and club managers, and it is time to do ask same from our officials and their managers, who hide away behind statistics rather than lead from the front.

What a lot of sense did he go to the same college as Slav,
Can’t believe the people that have defended the refs in the last few days after some terrible decision this year,
If you brought something and it did not work would you pay for it say thank you then defend the seller because he might feel agitated if he was criticised NO
    Great call Poll
