Porto boss talks Anderson up

|

Felipe Anderson is likely to get his next chance to impress at Porto when the team travel to Santa Clara next weekend.

The Hammers on-loan Brazilian has made a difficult start to his spell in Portugal and now has a small injury which is set to again keep him out of the Champions League squad for the match against Marseille Wednesday evening in France with the team holding a three goal advantage from the first leg.

There have been rumours that Porto want to send him back to London such has been what is perceived as a lack of energy and enthusiasm in his performances.

But ClaretandHugh has revealed recently that there is no break in his loan agreement and that he will be tied to the Portuguese club until the end of the season.

There is no option in the loan arrangement for the deal to be made permanent at the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile Porto boss Sergio Conceicao has begin to like what he sees in training from the player saying: “I don’t like to individualise, but Felipe Anderson has been working very well. As far as training is concerned, there is absolutely nothing to say.

These two weeks of work were important  and Felipe was also included. It depends on his ability to put in training what I want so that he is visible in the game, but of course I count on him.”
