Brighton boss Graham Potter knows exactly what he faces when he brings his Brighton and hove Albion strugglers to the London Stadium at the weekend.
The Seagulls boss – like most before him – has made it clear that the David Moyes outfit is a very good team indeed and that his outfit will have their work cut out in a big way.
The visitors have become something of a bogey side to us and we are without a win against them since 2012 and although this looks a great opportunity nothing should be taken for granted.
With Albion just outside the bottom three the Hammers can expect a tough test from a team knowing that points are of incredible importance.
We will be favourites to win and given our form at Stamford Bridge – despite the 3-0 defeat – there will be huge disappointment if we can’s see the south coast team off before travelling to Southampton.
Commenting on the game Potter said: “(They are ) really good, I think David [Moyes] has done a really good job there.
He got them out of trouble last year and strengthened the team. They have got a really good balance, they attack and defend well, and they have picked up some good points. “They have had a really strong start, so it is going to be a tough game.”
Brighton have played well in many games without getting results, similar to Leeds, Sheffield Utd and Fulham certainly won’t be a pushover hopefully we can play with same intensity we did against Chelsea not only against them but also Southampton who are a bigger threat.
We are unbalanced. There is no-one we can be sure will put the ball in the net. No shots on net against Chelsea? Pathetic.
