Poyet: Irons will be hard

|

GpoyetGus Poyet has warned his squad: ‘West Ham will be just as tough as Chelsea and Liverpool.’

The Black Cats boss has seen his side improve of late  but despite picking up points against the Blues and Liverpool, they have only scored once in their last four games.

Speaking to the Dunderland official website he said: “We knew the challenge of last week and we knew it wouldn’t be easy to play against Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, so after competing with them and picking up a couple of points the idea is to now go one step ahead and start winning football matches

“I don’t think it’s going to be easier it is just a different challenge and a different way of playing, so we need to make sure we can cope with the way West Ham United are playing at the moment because they are doing very well.”

“We need to think about what we do well and what we do best to win the game and get three points, because we’re in a situation where putting a couple of wins into the table would make the rest of the season easier.”

West Ham can climb to third with a fourth win on the bounce come Saturday afternoon as Sam Allardyce’s side continue to impress.

Although this undoubtedly will be a very tough game and that the mackem’s have tightened things up considerably recently,
we still should have too much firepower for them. Not to mention the far greater attacking options!
So therefore I’m going to stick my neck out and predict a very hard fought game being enlightened by our attacking class an not to mention finishing in a 2-0 win! Carroll/Sakho and or nolan will get the goals between them! COYI!
