Predictable West Ham

Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas called West Ham and Burnley unpredictable is his prediction website column.

While both teams results might be unpredictable at the moment one Claret and Hugh reader argued West Ham are far from unpredictable.

He argued Manuel Pellegrini utilises the same tactics week in week out.

West Ham are predictably slow out of the blocks for each game.

The Hammers have shown we can’t defend set-pieces and fail to deal with crosses into the box.

Our current defence is woeful and easy to open up.

Our backup goalkeeper is suspect so always worth a shot on goal.

We play with a lone isolated striker with no support.

We currently have a slow and ineffective midfield.

Like Newcastle player Jonjo Shelvey said last week, we know out West Ham play with a high line so trained and practised on the training ground to play against that.

Maybe we are not so unpredictable!
