Premier League clubs must field their strongest team when top-flight football restarts on 17th June.
West Ham Vice-Chairman Karren Brady has confirmed that Premier League rule L19, which requires clubs to field a full-strength team in every league match, remains in place to protect the integrity of the competition and ensure fairness to all clubs.
There has been some concern that clubs who have nothing to play for could be tempted to put out weakened sides or youth teams to rest players or minimize risk.
All twenty member clubs have agreed to honour the L19 regulation to make it fair to the sides facing the possibility of relegation.
With goal difference separating West Ham, Watford and Bournemouth for the remaining relegation place every result or goal could count on who is eventually relegated.
A win for Aston Villa from their game in hand on 17th June would move them outside the relegation zone with Bournemouth moving down to 19th and Watford entering the drop zone in 18th position.
