“Priceless” Payet – the fans respond

ClaretandHugh’s chief analyst Leroy Rosenior believes there will be inquiries for Dimi Payet in the summer but claims the midfielder is “priceless” and that he’s booked for a long stay with the Hammers.

Here’s how followers of the site and its Facebook forum have responded.
payetarmsoutO Never let him leave!
O Payet is boss
O I know there’s good PR, but I get the feeling that he likes us too. LOVE him-DO NOT LET HIM GO, DS & DG!
Don’t think we’d have a choice if he wanted too

O You don’t cry when the crowd sing as you come back from injury if you aren’t committed to a club
O I’m going to adopt him!

O He’s had the same impact as Carlos Tevez did on the fan’s though i think he’s already gonna be way bigger for us .

O He’s our “special one” he must stay to help the club achieve the heights we are aiming for.

O To keep him is showing our future intent and ambition.O You hope. But, if a champions league side want him and he wants to go……. Buying well this summer, adding more quality to the team could help in his decision to stay. Let’s keep every finger crossed people

O Sign his very good goalscoring friend from Olympic Marseille, sign Lanzini and Song permanently so Payet can play Champions League football at the Olympic Stadium already even next season.
O Selling your best players like Tottenham have done with Bale sends out the wrong message, even with a massive amount of money players like Payet are irreplaceable except with similarly astronomic fees.

  1. How long is his contract?

There isn’t a player in the Premiership who has shown such remarkable dribbling skill this year. Add to that his pace, goal scoring ability, eye for a killer pass and assists – why on earth would we let him go?

  2. …oh, and for the record…

    ..Deschamps is a moron.

  3. Deschamps probably a bit like Hoddle with a massive ego and not wanting creative geniuses that are better than they were as players to upstage them. Can’t wait for DD to hopefully get the job at Chelsea and ruin them even more than they are now.

Payet is the closet thing I have seen to Gazza and his close magic feet actually remind me of Maradona.

Get the cheque book out and sign Batshuayi and next season will be EPIC….!! Still hoping we sign Gokhan Toure also as he is going to be awesome in the Prem.

We’ve got Payet, I just don’t think you understand…..!! COYI

  4. Look at this logically people’s! The Dave’s at building a club like we always dreamed about ! For me personally that’s been 54 years ? V Burnley 1962 , they have payet on a long term contract at 29 yoa, they said we are not a selling club and I believe them . I also believe if wedid let him go then their would be a riot !!! And iI guarantee the os would not be filled !!!
We have a dream and its starting to become a real possibility and to take a step back would be a disaster for this club and the board !!
Payet is going nowhere ! He does not need to, he has the bug !!
Stop listening to the doom and gloom merchants and jelouse pundits trying to unsettle the club, I believe they are starting to realise we are becoming a threat to their elites,t biasness delusional way of thinking, have faith and live the dream in reality ! Nothing is guaranteed in life but I believe the Dave’s and Bilic are thinking forward , they have a dream and they are going for it ! Long may it continue !
