Protest? what protest as 200 turn up

|

Hammers United this afternoon saw 200 of their membership “thousands” turn up for the protest ahead of the Brentford game this afternoon.

The incredible run of success by the squad did not deter the group who had appealed  to their followers to turn up on the GSB ticket.

The protest was in “standing ” form and there was no accompanying march which at least saved a little embarrassment.

Both the police and club had believed privately the numbers would be about what we saw turn out with the tidal change across the club now holding sway with the majority of the fan base.

In a tweet – published above – the group claimed that were the demo a flop they would need to go back to their members to discover how they wanted HU to proceed.

Right now the answer seems pretty apparent following today’s turn-out which followed the cancelled protest ahead of the Manchester United game,

The less said about it the better I reckon, the numbers speak for them selves. The fans are more united than ever, perhaps this might finally put all this nonsense to bed for good.
