Pundit can’t see Irons doing a Huddersfield on Liverpool

daniel-sturridge-danny-liverpool-manchester-united-premier-league_3001952Former Liverpool midfielder Jan Molby reckons the visit of the Merseysiders is Slaven Bilic’s worst nightmare.

Molby writing in the Liverpool Echo – declared: “They went down to the London Stadium at the back end of last season and ran out comfortable winners and I’m expecting the same again on Saturday night.

Slaven Bilic is under a lot of pressure and I don’t know how he’s going to get himself out of it. The rumour was he had been given two games to save his job and they won one and drew the other.

West Ham are fragile and this will be a very difficult game for them. Liverpool will have good moments going forward and I don’t think West Ham will be able to cope with that pace and technical ability.

I can’t see Bilic’s side being able to do what Huddersfield did last weekend with everyone behind the ball. They’re erratic and I think they’ll be caught in between sitting back and having a go.”

Liverpool’s one selection dilemma  is whether he goes with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or Daniel Sturridge in his front three and Molby believes Sturridge will get the nod.

He said:  “Scoring in two consecutive games has to count for something.”
