Michael Ball believes West Ham fans will love watching Nikola Vlasic!
The ex-Everton star knows all about the Croatian, as he had a spell at the Toffees earlier in his career.
Vlasic ultimately moved on to CSKA Moscow, where he emerged as a star; he has also had plenty of appearances for Croatia, and went to Euro 2020.
Last season, Vlasic scored 11 goals in 26 games and he made his debut for the Irons in the Premier League at the weekend, in the 0-0 draw with Southampton.
That totalled 27 minutes but he is likely to start against Manchester United this weekend, as Mikey Antonio is suspended due to his red card against the Saints.
And Ball thinks he will become something of a cult hero at the London Stadium, because he will give absolutely everything for the cause when he is wearing the famous claret and blue shirt.
Speaking to Football FanCast, the former defender said: “He could’ve sat at Everton and picked up the money, but he wanted to go and play football, it’s worked for him and now he’s got a huge move to West Ham.
“The West Ham faithful will be pretty pleased with how he plays football because he gives everything. He gives everything for the shirt and he tries his best.
“And if he’s improved as a player, West Ham will have a good, exciting player to watch week in and week out.”
