Ratings 2 Irons v Leeds

Niall hands out his marks

Fabianski: Quiet first-half and 3 excellent saves after the break 8

Coufal: I thought he looked a little stretched at times but his focus and determination was first class 8

Diop: Can’t find many faults in another clean sheet – got several blocks in 8

Dawson: Another goal with fast-becoming trademark header. Hit the post from another corner, defended brilliantly and cleared one off the line 9

Cresswell: Top-notch set piece delivery and defending. Didn’t need to venture too far forwards tonight 8

Rice: Slightly below his usual high standards – passed up penalty duties to Lingard 7

Soucek: Stood out in the midfield, breaking up play, pushing forwards and threatening at set pieces 8

Benrahma: Some really direct, driving runs. Tracked back and supported Cresswell really well 8

Fornals: Struck the bar with a superb volley; passing game was a little off 7

Lingard: Won and scored the penalty, not hugely involved thereafter but always capable of a neat pass 7
A

ntonio: Had a great battle with Llorente. Hamstrings survived one 70-yard counter attack run 7

Subs
Bowen: On as a sub for a change – ran down the clock nicely in the corner 5
Johnson: Helped see out yet another win on the march to Europe  No rating

  1. I thought Declan had a superb game…. well worthy of an 8
    Benrahma… not so much….
    Just IMHO

  2. Benrahma 6 and pretty anonymous for most of the game.Ironically his best spell was in the 15 mins leading up to his substitution.
    Great saves by Fabs !
