Ravel in fitness race

|
rav5Ravel Morrison is bidding to shake off a nagging groin problem in time to play a part in the crucial West Ham United clash against West Bromwich Albion tomorrow lunchtime.
Morrison reported the injury as he left the training pitch on Christmas Eve ahead of the match against Arsenal.
A source said last night that Rav was battling desperately to play a part in the match against the Baggies at the weekend.
He said: “He is young and sometimes these things clear up quickly so there’s a chance. It’s a niggly groin injury but he’ll be out there if it’s humanly possible.”
Boss Sam Allardyce commented: “Ravel Morrison reported injured to our physio on Christmas Eve with a groin injury. I don’t think that will be too bad but we will have to wait and see.
“James Collins came off against Arsenal with a calf injury, which will make him unlikely to be fit.”
Likely team: Adrian: Demel, Tomkins, McCartney, Rat; Cole, Noble, Diame, Jarvis, Nolan, Cole.
