Ray Winstone speaks..
An interesting interview with West Ham fan and full time legend Ray Winstone on talkSPORT this week when he was asked about his opinion on David Moyes.
Ray has been a Hammer all his life and first lived in Caister Park Road, Plaistow, attending Portway infants and junior school. He moved to Enfield when he was seven years of age.
He admitted that he had lost “a bit of faith in him” and that our Premiership was diabolical really.”
He added that looking over the season though we had only been beaten by an odd goal although he felt too many players had been brought in, instead of being blended. He added though that winning a European Cup was fantastic!
His views were echoed by almost all Hammers fans up and down the country.
As he also pointed out, Moyes has come under justifiable criticism for his “safety first” tactics and if we really are going to push on and become a permanent member of the top six, changes in Moyes`s style will be needed.
My own worry that he is too stuck in his ways. but a new season beckons and hope springs eternal !
Ray normally gets his way so hopefully Moyes will be put in his place by the screen hard man, LOL
