Former Irons manager Harry Redknapp has tipped West Ham for a successful season, praising the club’s summer transfer business.

In an interview with talkSPORT , Redknapp believes the Hammers have strengthened their squad significantly with the signings of Niclas Fullkrug, Guido Rodriguez, and Crysencio Summerville, among others. Redknapp highlighted the impact these new additions could have on the team and expressed optimism about West Ham’s prospects.

The Irons were quick to make new signings and, after a bit of a lull, they have added these three over the past week or so – and each of those signings will provide something different.

Summerville was the best player in the Championship last season; Fullkrug impressed for Germany at Euro 2024; Rodriguez was wanted by some of Europe’s top clubs after departing Real Betis.

The Hammers finished ninth in the Premier League last season, but with a rejuvenated squad and a new manager in Julen Lopetegui, the club will be aiming for a much higher finish this time around.

Ahh Twitch has once again got paid for saying the bleeding obvious!…… or is he just getting in first on all those pundits who shouted from the roof tops “be careful what you wish for”

Is it likely that the signing of players so far could also enable some of those already on the books to raise their game? That would be a nice bonus for the money spent so far, any thoughts on that?

Love Rednkapp in spite of his meltdowns. Best football West Ham played in all the years I followed the club and we came 5th! Let down by previous ownership. Did well at Spuds. Shame we let him and both Franks go. If you remember back then I hope you agree.

Did his dog write those comments? And did it pay tax on the fee.
