Reece Oxford mystery solved

Oxford-604905Young Hammer, Reece Oxford has solved the mystery of his exclusion from the FA Cup squad that travelled to Manchester over the weekend.

The 17 year old central defender who can also play in midfield has revealed he suffered a small injury in training yesterday which ruled him out.

Speaking on his personal twitter account this afternoon  Ocford said:

Unfortunately, I got a small injury in training yesterday, but massive game for the boys today”

Slaven Bilic was forced to include Winston Reid in his squad who started against Manchester United  at Old Trafford in the FA Cup quarter-final despite only resuming training on Friday after 5 weeks out with a hamstring injury.

  1. Thank Christ he was not over looked because of his age,we are going to need this lad to finish this season on a high,
But even more then that he will be our best defender for the next 10 year and more and our future captain ,
Keep those not for sale signs up and improve his contract for 4 more years on top,
If he leave it will cost £30 million to replace him
