Reid gets the armband

reidNew Zealand coach Anthony Hudson has named Winston Reid as his skipper ahead of the game against Uzbekistan in Tashkent this week.

Hudson says the 26-year-old Iron has all the qualities required to lead the team forward.

Claiming he is deeply committed to the international team Hudson said he’s a top player, a good man and will lead the team in his own way, taking them into this new era of the All Whites.
