Reid misses another return at Cheltenham tonight

West Ham under 21s go into action tonight and once again Winston Reid is missing.

And there are now worries that it could be weeks before the injury stricken central defender is fit to make a competitive appearance.

He had been expected to play in any of the  Development Squad’s last three games but he is still not ready and that is bound to create new concerns.

Once source told CandH on the ‘phone:There seem to be a series of difficulties with Winston – just as a return is expected  something crops up.”

After missing last season plus eight games of this one following a knee injury, the player has been back in training but for unclear reasons will miss tonight’s game at Cheltenham where the u23s go into Leasing.com Trophy action. Indeed he has not even been named as a sub.

  1. …. which again proves how the West Ham support has been messed around. Every week Pelligrini does political tricks with words. Never a direct and true response to any question posed. • Well, so then we have a person drawing a huge salary for more than a year, and not contributing to the game at West Ham. Try that elsewhere …. and see ????
