Reid: “We are looking forward to a fresh start”

URGENTWinston Reid has admitted that everybody “is looking forward to working under the new manager.”

And speaking to the official site he added: “It is nice to have a fresh pair of eyes looking at everyone and I’m sure it will be good for the Club.”

Reid said: “He has managed at the top level for several clubs. I have met him briefly and he seems a really nice person.

“All the players are eager to come back and work with the new management and see what ideas they can put into the team. We will see how it goes.

“The Club needed to do this at this point of time and the Chairman have made that decision to bring someone else in. We are looking forward to having a fresh start.”

  1. Wrong! The answer should be “Don’t ask me I’ve been out partying all night haven’t been to bed yet, well not to sleep anyway know what I mean *wink wink*”
    Bloody modern footballers lol

  2. Just another purely professional statement from a player. When Allardyce was still in charge we had players coming out saying ho much they enjoyed working with him, hoping he’d stay.
As soon as he left the players now say how much they’re looking forward to the new guy and his ideas, being thrilled to bits etc.
I reckon they will also stay professional, no point washing dirty linen about Allardyce in public now he is gone. Most important thing is: He’s gone and we have a fresh start.
Let’s hope the players make the most of it.

  3. True H,it happens everywhere, whoever the manager of the time the players love him.Once hes gone & the new managers arrives he is the best about, lol. No word from Nolaninho though, either about Samuel going or Slav arriving.Would have thought as club captain we would have heard from him.Maybe he is still sulking.

  4. The club captain has TV commitments filming Nolan v Food so he’s been too busy to comment

  5. Nolan vs. Food ? I know who wins most of those. It ain’t the food…LOL

    • Salad is the only one who’s beaten him so far lol

    • Lmao, love it Quick & HH.Be careful though, dont get caught here. You will be black balled by the superior breed of West Ham fans at your home site Hamburg.Dont want you to be seen consorting with the riff raff, lol 😉

  6. I am known as the Nolan basher on WHTID anyway, no point trying to hide from it…

  7. Ahh but the truth is out H I’m you,me,Ty and all the others. I’m the modern day Mike Yarwood lol
