Reid’s worrying injury history

|

winston-reid-west-ham-united_3009997Winston Reid’s injury problems – and his hamstring in particular – are becoming a regular issue in his West Ham career.

The central defender – always an awesome presence when available – has now gone down with his third ‘hammy’ problem inside 11 months.

And in football season terms that can be translated to nine games missed as a result and laid off for a total of 53 days.

Within the same 11 months the central defender has also suffered thigh muscle strains and hip problems which saw him miss 56 days and eight games.

And back in the 13/14 season the Kiwi was laid off for a total of 85 days which saw him miss 16 games.
