Report: £20m offer for Serbian defender

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims West Ham have made a 25 million Euro (£20m) offer for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic but claims the Italian club turned it down and are  holding out for at least 30 million euros (£25m)

The 22-year old Serbia international is 6ft 5ins tall and technically good with the versatility to be able to play at centre back or right-back also.

He has been tracked by some of Europe’s top sides, including Manchester United and the offer may yet fall short of Fiorentina’s valuation.
Born in Belgrade in the former Yugoslavia, Milenkovic began his youth football career at Partizan in 2015.
Milenković was loaned to Teleoptik for the 2015–16 season. At the beginning of 2016, he joined the first team of Partizan making his debut.
In 2017, Partizan president Milorad Vučelić confirmed that Milenković would be joining Serie A side Fiorentina in the summer.
The transfer fee was reported as €5.1 million. Milenković made his debut for Fiorentina in 1–0 away victory over Cagliari on 22 December 2017, having played 84 minutes of the game.

  1. It seems every player in every league being mentioned as a transfer target for every club is being tracked by any number of big clubs doesn’t it ? I guess all clubs are in some way tracking all players through statistical interest. The important thing is whether they have made a bid or are likely too, journalism by most of these so called journo’s or mainly imho copy and paste artists seems to be getting more and more lazy as every day passes. Looking forward to hearing some real news at some point fingers crossed 🤞

  2. I agree ..I keep thinking it’s some sort of joke with the amount of players every day..I’m not sure why things are written when we know it just won’t happen…total waste if time and money ..

  3. Coufal for approx £3.5m
Plays tonight in Champions League for Slavia Prague
