A report in the Spanish media today claims that West Ham goalkeeper Adrian gave the West Ham board an ultimatum that he wanted to leave if David Moyes was to stay in charge after the Summer.
Spanish media outlet Estadiodeportivo says Adrián made it clear to the club that if Moyes continued he would look for a way out in the summer. With this new scenario, Adrian staying at West Ham can be viable, although Betis wants his services”.
Real Betis are said to want their former goalkeeper Adrian. The LaLiga club are looking to revamp their goalkeeping options and have a deal in place with Espanyol’s Pau Lopez. Lopez is contracted with Espanyol until the end in June but has signed a pre-contract with Real Betis which will keep him there until 2023. The 23-year-old will have a buy-out clause of 30 million euros added to the goalkeeper’s contact.
Spanish newspaper AS previously said Betis Adrian was considering a return to Spain this summer to act as a mentor and competition to the younger keeper. The 31-year-old Hammer has just over a year to run on his current deal.
Maybe if Adrian’s comments were made when he was sitting on the bench having been replaced by hart, otherwise I’m not sure I believe a word of that.
He may of said I’m sure not I want to stay if Moyes stays but , as usual with media they do some inventing . As for an ultimatum , Nah .
