West Ham have had a £29m offer for striker Maxi Gomez accepted by Celta Vigo claim Sky Sports News
Valencia are also understood to have had the same offer accepted by their La Liga rivals, which includes add-ons the report claims.
In the last few minutes Kaveh Solhekol posted on Twitter “West Ham and Valencia have had £29m bids accepted by Celta Vigo for striker Maxi Gomez. Up to Gomez to decide where he wants to go. West Ham have also made £13m bid for Eibar defensive midfielder Joan Jordan.”
Gomez has a release fee of £44.5m but no-one has been prepared to pay that amount. If the Sky report is to be believed that both clubs have had bids accepted for £15.5m less than that valuation.
One would hope the draw of the Premier League would make West Ham the more attractive offer.

Can only really beat Valencia on wages. Unless he has a real desire to play in the Premier League. Hope so, I’d love to see Pellegrini’s West Ham with all his top targets. Reports we’re in for Joan Jordan too for 13m which is great if we can get it over the line. I should image Snodgrass would move on to accommodate.
