Don’t want to be cynical but why would Besiktas sell a player they highly value to their former manager especially as he is under contract for another 4 years.

I like him has that Christian dailly look about him

  • spyinthesky says:

Has had an injury in recent months apparently and so it may be they would rather sell to finnce other players. That’s the story anyway.

  • bubs says:

It’s going to come down to price again, not sure we need anymore players in this position
Unless Song and Diarra don’t fit for Slav,

  • ChristianDaillyno1fan says:

I agree bubs, I think song is the one we should get if it’s a reasonable price and his injury isn’t serious, also I like Christian dailly

  • hammer4life says:

I think Song fits with Bilic but maybe they are getting fed up with this whole saga and starting to look elsewhere. That’s my best guess. Not sure about Diarra. Think he’ll be cheap and that’s it. Obviously Slav know this bloke well so that’s a good sign.

If we’re so close to Song and his family love london it seems strange that he’d make an unnecessary trip on crutches to Barca. We’ve had no confirmation Diarra is still on the radar so this Kavlak fella might be the former Besiktas player that we suspected Slav would go for

    • MyOldMan says:

Song is still contracted to Barca and I assume its them who would have to sort out any medical treatment for his injury so I guess that he has flown back to meet with there medial staff.

You could be right My but it looks like the op has happened I just wonder if we’re going cold on this one,we shall see

  • essexclarets says:

My bet is he was asked would he like to follow bilic to england & he said yes. All of a sudden Bilic wants to sign him up.

  • MyOldMan says:

Think rumors like this and the lad from PSG will keep cropping up until we know what we are looking at with the Song injury. Probably gonna be a week or two till we pull the trigger on any DM signing as you get the impression the club would prefer Song back as he is very much a known quantity but are obviously prepared to look elsewhere if needs be.

It’s going to get tough for Noble to keep his place with all these midfield reinforcements ..
But I reckon he’s up to the challenge and will prove his doubters wrong .
It’s Nolan who should be taking a look at his options right now , me thinks .

  • TysonM says:

Cant see how Nolan isnt going to be anything other than a bench warmer this season if he doesnt move on.I still have hope that someone will come in for him.Why the bloody hell do we want to pay 50k a week to him anymore. As for Noble it all depends how the other midfielders settle in.If they do well then i think he might find his arse on the bench a fair bit.We will see i guess 😉

  • Lt. Quickdrawovic 1st Slavalry C&H Regt says:

I just still can’t see who takes Nolan unless his pride kicks in and he takes a loss on the guaranteed £50K a week and I agree that unless the newbies don’t settle I’m not so sure Nobes gets much of a look in,well in the prem at least
