Report: Brereton Diaz fire continues to burn

|

Ben Brereton Diaz is again being linked with West Ham.

The Blackburn Rovers striker was in excellent form last season and scored 21 goals in the Championship.

Boss David Moyes is a fan of the Chile international and the Daily Mail now reports that the club are considering a swoop for the 23-year-old.

Burnley’s Dwight McNeil is another possible target but there is rival interest from Crystal Palace.

The Irons appear to have missed out on Jesse Lingard, who looks poised to move to Nottingham Forest, and that has opened the door to a swoop for Brereton Diaz.

Sevilla are also said to be interested but it isn’t clear if the Spanish club are willing to table a bid in this transfer window.

Blackburn extended Brereton Diaz’s contract recently but only to the end of this season, meaning this could be the club’s final chance to receive a big fee for the player.
