Report: Bundesliga ace open to Hammers switch

A new report claims that Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic would be open to a move to West Ham if the possibility arose this summer.

Kicker reports that the forward is set to depart the club at the end of the season, regardless of whether Stuttgart stay up or not.

He has been with the German club since 2019, moving for just £1.5m from Admira Wacker, and he has gone on to score 23 goals in 56 games.

That’s an impressive record and the Irons have long been linked with a potential swoop to secure his signature.

They were initially linked with a move last season but that report fell away, although there is now new information surrounding his future.

Kalajdzic is said to be willing to make a move to the Premier League and Stuttgart may be minded to sell, with his contract expiring in 2023.

Still, they expect to receive around £17m if he is to leave in the next transfer window.
