Report: Carroll gets ‘killer’ dogs for protection

Andy Carroll is this morning being reported as having bought two “killer” dogs several months before his gun chase terror after fearing his family were being targeted by a criminal gang.

The Sun claims he spent at least £30,000 on the Italian mastiffs called Cane Corsos which are being trained to protect him.

Armed bikers allegedly demanded his watch and chased him for 20 minutes at speed accordig to reports last week.

And last night the report claims evidence emerged that England international Carroll, 27, was deliberately targeted by the gang after one of them was seen lurking at the club’s training ground hours earlier.

Police are now probing whether the chase was more than a random attempted robbery as was first thought.

  1. I don’t know about this – the more I hear about it the more fishy it sounds – is there more to it than a couple of chavs trying to rip off his watch or car or whatever?

Ship him off to China asap!!

  2. What happens to the killer dogs if he goes to China? Yes I thought about the Chinese menu.If Payet and Carroll go in January then we will have a sizable war chest but will there be any quality to buy in January???
