Report: Chelsea defender offered five year deal

West Ham are in talks with Kurt Zouma and offered him a five-year contract until 2026 according to journalist Nicolò Schira.

He suggests the Hammers are preparing an official bid to Chelsea for €25M. (£21.3m) for the experienced Premier League Centre back.

In an update, Schira claims that Zouma has agreed on personal terms and is keen to move to the Hammers.

Chelsea would like to part exchange him to Sevilla as a counterpart in Koundè‘s deal which complicates any possible deal.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel rates Zouma and is under no pressure to sell so it remains to be seen whether he will sanction a sale to a Premier League rival.

The Hammers are also thought to be in for Serbian centre back Nikola Milenković with an offer of £12.8m said to be enough to seal his deal.

There will be competition for both targets so all eyes will be on David Moyes and David Sullivan to see if they can seal a deal for a new centre back.
