Report: Chelsea reject Hammers target

Chelsea have rejected the chance to sign Layvin Kurzawa from PSG, according to a new report.

The left-back has also been linked with a potential move to West Ham in this transfer window and it appears that his agent is offering him around in a bid to drum up interest.

The Blues have been on the lookout for a new left-back after seeing Ben Chilwell sustain a serious injury and Foot Mercato reports that Chelsea have been sounded out over a potential deal.

However, they have opted against a swoop for the defender, and the Hammers remain in the mix to potentially secure his signature.

Foot Mercato, though, also claims that the Irons are not at the front of the queue for his signature, with agent Mikael Silvestre now set to shop him to potentially interested Italian clubs.

Lazio, Inter Milan, and Napoli have all been touted with a potential interest in securing his signature.

  1. Chelsea are right, would be a poor signing, just because he has played for PSG does not mean he will be a good signing for us.
