Report: Cresswell hit by sickness bug

cresswellCandHWe’re getting unconfirmed reports that Aaron Cresswell has suffered a sickness bug and may be forced to drop out of tonight’s line-up against Brighton.

We stress that these are unconfirmed at this stage but it seems possible that Arthur Masuaku could now step into the left back role.

Should that turn out to be the case, the Irons will look particularly strong offensively down the left side where Masuaku has been in a revelation in a couple of sub outings.

The revised team if Cresswell fails to appear looks set to be: Hart, Zabaleta, Reid, Fonte, Masuaku; Kouyate, Obiang, Antonio, Arnautovic, Lanzini, Chicharito.

  1. ‘ the Irons will look particularly strong offensively down the left side ‘, …… yes and particularly weak defensively down the left side.
I only hope that Brighton are particularly weak offensively down their right side.

  2. well they were weak offensively down there left hand side, but we still gave them the game on a plate.
