Report: Everton eye Hammers striker

EVERTON are today being reported as being ready to move in on Michail Antonio this summer assuming of course they avoid relegation.

According to Journalist Alan Nixon in today’s Sun Sean Dyche is a big admirer and needs two forwards to boost a squad which has managed just 22 goals this season – two less than us.

He claims that frontman Antonio is top of their list — with owner Farhad Moshiri willing to fund the move once the Toffees are assured of Premier League safety.

The Hammers held on to Antonio in the last window despite Wolves’ interest, and since then he has featured regularly.

The 32-year-old is the Hammer’s top goa scorer in the history of the Premier League with 59 goals but has been out of touch this season with just three in the .

With Danny Ings, Gianluca Scamacca and Divin Mubama looking ready to break through it could well be the Hammers will be ready to let Antonio move on for a fee of around £10 million.

A final; pay day before retirement could be on the cards if Everton do indeed move in.
