Everton is looking to beat West Ham to the £25million capture of Toulouse centre-back Issa Diop.
The Daily Mirror report that Marco Silva is looking to reshape his defense at Goodison Park following his arrival on Merseyside. The tabloid claim the Hammers have agreed a deal in principle with Diop, the 21-year-old France Under-21 captain.
Yesterday French media tonight claimed that Toulouse rejected an initial bid of £13.2m from West Ham for the 21-year-old centre-back Issa Diop. A report on Le10Sport.com claims that the Hammers sent their proposal for Issa Diop last week saying an offer arrived on Olivier Sadran’s desk on Friday. The precise amount is 15 million euros they added. Toulouse did not accept West Ham’s offer. The French club expects more money to let go of their starlet and expect West Ham to come back with an improved offer.
Whether there is real interest from Everton remains to be seen.
