Report: Haller debt remains outstanding

German website Kicker claims that an instalment due to Frankfurt on the Sebstian Haller move to West Ham remains unpaid in August.

According to Kicker sources, the Hammers apparently wanted to divide the six million euros instalment into several smaller instalments, which Frankfurt flatly refused.  Frankfurt turned to FIFA, which gave West Ham a deadline to explain withholding payment.

The report says West Ham still owe 24 million euros to Frankfurt in total.

A source close to the club refused to go into details citing confidentially just saying  the issue is being dealt with.

  1. I sincerely hope not. Why would other cubs take deferred payments from us if we do this sort of thing. As i say if it is true. I sincerely hope not.

  2. What’s going on with this? Can’t we pay our debt? This story doesn’t seem to go away, what are the owners doing about it?

  3. Just as we receive a bid for Rice… club will no doubt come out and claim we have no money, and have to sell Rice to balance the books. It’s almost like they are holding back on these payments just for this situation! No other club airs their dirty laundry in the public eye. One day I hope our club will be run with a bit of dignity.

  4. What a joke, this is why the owners need to sell up. I have likely supported the board for far longer than most, I giving them the benefit of the doubt time after time. However this is the last straw for me, they are dragging the club through the dirt damaged our reputation for future transfers, protentional risking a fine or even worst points deductions. For what 6million pounds, what a shambles. We agreed a fee, we pay a fee on the agreed time frame, or the club deserves what they get. However the fans don’t deserve it! Fed up with it, we ARE ran like a circus.
