According to a report from Spanish newspaper Marca, West Ham have agreed to loan the young midfielder to Malaga for the coming season with Pellegrini apparently suggesting the deal.

Haksabanovic only joined the Hammers last summer. The 19-year-old made two appearances for the first-team last term, but is still awaiting his Premier League debut for West Ham.

The midfielder was arguably one of the finds of pre-season for Pellegrini’s men, so it may surprise some fans that he looks set to spend the next campaign out in Spain with Pellegrini’s old side.

It must be added that Marca notes that no future fee has been inserted into the deal, with the Irons reportedly excited about Montenegro international’s potential. His medical is set to take place on Sunday.
